Eco Hotel La Cabaña is located 5 minutes from Salento on the road to Valle del Cocora. To reach the hotel, you can take a Jeep or Willys, which are the 'taxis' of the region. This transportation can be taken from the main square of Salento and costs 2,000 COP per person to the hotel if taken with other passengers. If you prefer a private ride, the cost is 16,000 COP (4 USD) to the hotel.

In case you arrive at airports or terminals in nearby cities such as Armenia or Pereira, we offer transportation service directly to the hotel with the following rates (up to 4 people with little luggage).
- Pereira Airport or Terminal: 190.000 COP
- El Edén Airport Armenia: 160,000 COP
- Armenia Transportation Terminal: 120,000 COP

For those traveling from Medellin by bus, the transportation company "Flota Occidental" offers direct trips at various times throughout the day and night.
At Eco Hotel La Cabaña, we understand that our facilities are secluded from Salento. That's why, whenever possible, we provide transportation for our guests to various locations for their convenience.
En caso que nosotros no podamos transportarlos o si quieren una mayor autonomía, en Salento contamos con «Jeeps» o «Willys» que funcionan como los `taxis´ de la zona. Es fácil encontrarlos y te pueden transportar a un buen precio.

We have à la carte restaurant service, and our restaurant is open all day.
We take orders until 8 in the evening, and if you are staying with us, reservations are not necessary.
In our menu, you can find typical Colombian dishes as well as international, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
In the Cocora Valley, we have a relative humidity of almost 90%, and we are at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. Therefore, the daytime temperature can range between 17°C and 24°C, and at night it can drop to around 12°C. For this reason, we recommend bringing warm clothing.
Also, keep in mind that most activities are outdoors, so it's good to bring comfortable clothing for hikes, boots or sneakers that can get dirty, and remember to bring a water bottle. We provide all the water you need to avoid purchasing single-use plastic bottles.

Of course! We are animal lovers.
You can bring one pet weighing up to 20 kilograms per room or two small ones weighing less than 10 kilograms each.
We are pet-friendly and care about the well-being of your pet.
Make sure to bring all the necessary accessories for the safety of your pet and other guests. Also, please adhere to some rules of coexistence in common areas.
It's important to present the vaccination card and proof of both internal and external deworming.
Keep in mind that on the property, we also have our own animals, and while they are extremely friendly, your pet is entering their territory. We want to avoid any accidents.
